Emery Kelly Releases Debut Solo Album ‘S.O.M.E. (Some Of My Emotions)’ Featuring Raw Vibes, Star Power & Years in the Making

Emery Kelly, the multitalented singer, songwriter, actor, and producer, has officially stepped into the spotlight with the release of his highly anticipated debut solo album ‘Some Of My Emotions,’ stylized as ‘S.O.M.E.,’ which dropped on May 30th. The project marks a significant new chapter for the former Forever In Your Mind (FIYM) member — one that is both deeply personal and musically expansive.

Years in the making, ‘S.O.M.E.‘ is a genre-blending emotional ride through vulnerability, growth, and creative freedom. Kelly, who rose to fame on The X Factor USA in 2013 and went on to form FIYM under the guidance of Simon Cowell, is now showcasing his individual artistry with unapologetic confidence and a sound that’s entirely his own.

The 12-track album features standout singles that fans are already spinning on repeat. The newly released track “Promises” featuring Rexx Life Raj delivers a smooth blend of R&B and hip-hop, dripping with lyrical intimacy and chill production. Other highlights include the moody and infectious “Cruel Intentions,” the dreamy throwback energy of last summer’s hit “Last Dance,” the introspective flow of “Stream of Thought,” the sultry “Come My Way,” and the vibey “Roll-Or Coastin’.”

The authenticity in ‘S.O.M.E.’ is what hits hardest. As its title suggests, the album captures glimpses of Kelly’s internal world — heartbreak, hope, healing — all wrapped in polished vocals, layered melodies, and beats that glide between alt-pop, R&B, and soul.
