MGM+ dives into the dark and supernatural with ‘The Institute‘

Dark secrets, twisted experiments, and a sinister institution—MGM+ unveils ‘The Institute,’ a gripping new original series based on the chilling novel by Stephen King. Set deep in the woods of Maine, the story follows a group of gifted children held captive in a mysterious facility where their powers are exploited—and escape seems impossible. Starring Mary-Louise Parker (Weeds) as the enigmatic director, Ben Barnes (The Chronicles of Narnia) as a conflicted outsider, and introducing breakout newcomer Joe Freeman as young Luke Ellis, The Institute delivers a haunting blend of psychological suspense, supernatural thrills, and emotional intensity.

The Institute INSTAX Event Moments!

On Thusday, June 26th, the talented cast of MGM+ new original series ‘The Institute’ assembled to celebrate the Los Angeles Premiere at the historical Culver Theater & Culver Hotel. The premiere was attended by cast members Mary-Louise Parker, Ben Barnes, Joe Freeman, Simone Miller, Fionn Laird, Jason Diaz, Birva Pandya, Arlen So, Jane Luk, Viggo Hanvelt Director Jack Bender and Executive Producer Benjamin Cavell.

Also in attendance were many friends of the cast like Patti Jenkins, Joely Fisher, Peri Gilpin, Will Parker, Guillermo Diaz, Colin Ferguson, Tia Carrere, Jesse Kove, Colin Ford, Vivian Lamolli and more!
